Best Overwatch 2 Sensitivity: Pro Settings & eDPI

Overwatch 2 eDPI numbers look huge next to CS2 — but that is the tiny 0.0066 yaw, not a wildly different feel. Here is what pros actually run, why the numbers look big, and how to find yours.

Overwatch 2 is a hero shooter with heavy tracking on projectile and hitscan heroes, so pros lean a little faster than tactical-shooter players — but the spread is still controlled. The eDPI figures look enormous (thousands, not hundreds) purely because Overwatch uses a very small yaw constant. Compare cm/360 and the picture lines up with the rest of FPS.

TL;DR — Most Overwatch 2 pros play 800 DPI with an eDPI roughly between 3,000 and 5,500, which is about 25–40 cm per 360°. OW2 uses a 0.0066 yaw — the same as Warzone — so a CS2 sens converts by multiplying by about 3.33. Compare cm/360, not the raw eDPI.

What sensitivity do Overwatch 2 pros use?

Verified OW2 pros sit overwhelmingly at 800 DPI, with eDPI mostly in the 3,000–5,500 band — a touch faster than CS2 in real terms to handle tracking and quick target switches. Because eDPI scale differs between games, cm/360 (how far you move to spin a full circle) is the honest cross-game comparison: most land around 25–40 cm.

Why is Overwatch 2 eDPI so high?

It is a unit artefact, not a faster setting. Overwatch's engine uses a yaw of 0.0066 versus CS2's 0.022, so it needs a much larger in-game sensitivity (and therefore eDPI) to rotate the same amount. An OW2 eDPI of 4,000 is a normal, controlled sens — roughly a CS2 eDPI of 800 once you convert. Never compare raw eDPI across games; convert or compare cm/360.

What is a good Overwatch 2 sensitivity for beginners?

Start at 800 DPI with an in-game sens that puts you near 4,000 eDPI (about 30 cm/360) — squarely in the pro band and controllable for both hitscan tracking and flick-heavy heroes. Hitscan mains (Cassidy, Widow) often go slightly lower; high-mobility flex players a bit higher. Adjust by feel after a week, not before.

How do I convert my sensitivity to Overwatch 2?

  • From CS2 or Apex: multiply your sensitivity by ~3.33 (same DPI).
  • From Warzone: it is 1:1 — OW2 and Warzone share the 0.0066 yaw.
  • From Valorant: the converter handles the different yaw — do not eyeball it.
  • Keep your DPI the same and change only the in-game slider.
  • Confirm cm/360 matches across both games — that is the real constant.

Overwatch 2 is 1:1 with Warzone, The Finals and Destiny 2 (all 0.0066 yaw), so settings swap straight across that family. For everything else, convert and keep your cm/360 identical.
