Best R6 Siege Sensitivity: Pro Settings & eDPI
Siege is the one big FPS where the pro scene never moved to 800 DPI. Here is what all 17 verified Siege pros actually run, why the numbers look so much bigger than CS2, and how to land on yours.
Siege punishes overshooting more than almost any shooter: peeks are tight, time-to-kill is short, and most fights are decided by a small, precise correction rather than a wide flick. The pro settings reflect that — and they diverge from the rest of FPS in a way no other game on this site does.
What sensitivity do R6 Siege pros use?
Below is every verified Siege pro we track, ordered by eDPI rather than by name — the spread is the useful part. Each row is stamped with a source and a re-check date on the player list; nothing here is estimated.
| Player | DPI | Sens | eDPI |
|---|---|---|---|
| Centir | 400 | 6 | 2400 |
| Ewzy | 400 | 8 | 3200 |
| Pengu | 1600 | 2 | 3200 |
| LikEfac | 400 | 9 | 3600 |
| Soulz1 | 400 | 9 | 3600 |
| Cyber | 800 | 5 | 4000 |
| FelipoX | 400 | 10 | 4000 |
| jv92 | 400 | 10 | 4000 |
| nade | 400 | 10 | 4000 |
| Kheyze | 400 | 11 | 4400 |
| Alem4o | 400 | 12 | 4800 |
| Benjamaster | 800 | 6 | 4800 |
| Eddy | 400 | 12 | 4800 |
| Herdsz | 400 | 12 | 4800 |

| Beaulo | 800 | 34 | 27200 |
Ignore the last row for a moment and the cluster is remarkably tight — the great majority of the roster lives inside a band a few hundred eDPI wide. For a game with no sanctioned sensitivity and no hardware standard, that is a strong signal about what the game actually rewards.
Why do Siege pros still play at 400 DPI?
This is the genuine oddity in the data. Across every other game on this site the pro scene long ago settled on 800 DPI, and in some of them 800 is close to universal. In Siege the majority of the verified roster is still on 400.
We can report that faithfully; we cannot tell you why from the data alone, and we are not going to invent a reason. The honest read is that it is convention as much as physics — Siege has an old, stable competitive scene, 400 DPI was the standard when it formed, and there is no mechanical penalty for staying. A modern sensor resolves fine detail at 400 just as it does at 800; the number that matters is the product of the two, which is why we compare eDPI and not DPI.
Practically: do not switch your mouse to 400 because this table says so. Match the eDPI band at whatever DPI you already own, and your aim lands in the same place.
Why are Siege sensitivity numbers so much bigger than CS2?
Because the slider means something different. Siege computes turn from a radians-based constant that is roughly 3.8× smaller than the one CS2 uses, so a Siege sensitivity has to be about 3.8× larger to move the camera the same distance. A Siege player on 12 and a CS2 player on 3.1 at the same DPI are aiming identically.
That is also why comparing raw slider values between the two games is meaningless, and why eDPI comparisons only work within one game. The number that carries across everything is cm/360 — the physical distance your hand travels for a full turn.
How do I convert my sensitivity into Siege?
- Note the sens and DPI you use in the game you already aim well in.
- Put both into the converter and read the Siege value — it does the yaw maths for you.
- Keep your DPI exactly as it is. Changing hardware DPI and in-game sens at once means you cannot tell which one you are adjusting to.
- Check the cm/360 figure matches your old game. If it does, the feel carried over correctly, whatever the sliders say.
- Give it a few sessions before judging. A converted sens feels wrong for about a day and correct thereafter.
What is a good Siege sensitivity for beginners?
Aim for the pro band rather than a specific number: around 4000 eDPI, or roughly 39.9 cm/360, at whatever DPI your mouse is already set to. That is slower than most newcomers pick for themselves, which is the point — Siege rewards the small correction over the fast one.
If you consistently cannot turn to check a flank, go up a little. If you overshoot heads on close peeks, come down. Change one thing at a time and leave it alone for a week.
Should you copy the highest eDPI on the list?
No — and the last row of that table is a lesson in reading settings data at all. It belongs to a retired player whose eDPI is several times the rest of the roster. It is real, verified and correctly recorded, and it is still the worst possible thing to copy.
It is also why every figure quoted on this site is a median rather than an average. One extreme entry drags a mean well above where anyone actually plays, and a "pro average" computed that way would send you to a sensitivity no current professional uses. When a settings site quotes you an average, ask what the spread looks like.
